Volunteer Galapagos Extension, 4 Days

While many people visit the Galapagos, few take the time to give back to these enchanted islands. This 4 day volunteering extension provides an opportunity to have a different type of Galapagos experience: one filled with rewarding hard work, natural beauty, smiling faces and kind hearts. We invite you to trade your binoculars for machetes, work gloves and compassion. Join our efforts to help make Galapagos a better place for the people, plants and animals that call it home.

NOTE: only valid for groups of 10 and more participants. Private group tour.

Trip Highlights

  • Help protect the fragile environment and support the community of San Cristobal.
  • Plant and nurture native and endemic plants as part of a reforestation project.
  • Learn to use a machete to eradicate invasive plant species.
  • Lead special-needs kids on hikes, horseback rides, and educational games.
